Murder: Roger Rogerson and Glen McNamara were jointly charged with the murder of Jamie Gao on 20 May 2014 and with possessing 2.78 kg of methylamphetamine for supply.

Murder: After an investigation by police that spanned over 4 decades, the offender was charged in 2015 in relation to a series of bombings in the 1980s. He was indicted on four counts of murder; two counts of exploding an explosive device that destroys or damages a building with intent to murder; one count of placing an explosive substance into a vehicle with intent to commit murder; one count of maliciously placing an explosive substance near a building with intent to damage that building; and thirteen counts of maliciously, by an explosion, cause grievous bodily harm. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for each of three counts of murder for which he was convicted.

Historical Sexual Assault: Peter Higgins was a Patrician Brother at a school in Liverpool in the 1970's. He allegedly sexually assaulted a student at the school on a number of occasions. The school provided the victim with an ex-gratia payment as a result of the victim disclosing the conduct in 2005. As a result of a report to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, Police brought charges against Higgins. In 2019, Higgins was found guilty of three counts of sexual assault in the District Court. In 2020, the Court of Criminal Appeal overturned the convictions and acquitted Higgins on all counts.

Sexual Assault: The offender was charged and convicted of 33 sexual assault and sexual assault related offences. These offences arose from his use of social media (Facebook and Tinder) to engage with his victims. In total there were 14 victims, the youngest was 15 years old. He was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of 40 years (30 years non parole period).
